Guest Speakers

Speak the Truth.

Inspire Action. Build Connection.

Guest SpEakers.

Invite Jeremy Boston, former residential school student, youth coach, and Director of the Orange Jersey Project—to speak with your team, school, or organization.

Jeremy is Secwépemc from Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation and brings a unique blend of lived experience and deep community connection to every session.

As a long-time minor hockey & lacrosse coach in Kamloops, Jeremy understands firsthand the power of sport to build character, belonging, and leadership. He’s coached at multiple levels, supported his own children through the game, and facilitated dozens of reconciliation-focused events. When Jeremy speaks to young athletes, he doesn’t speak at them, he speaks to them, with the insight of someone who’s been in their shoes.

Whether in the dressing room or on stage, Jeremy bridges generations through honest storytelling, humour, and humility.

Community Conversations
with Local Elders.

OJP coordinates with local Nations to help teams invite a nearby Elders or knowledge keeper to speak directly with their athletes.

These community led sessions offer teams a meaningful place based learning opportunity rooted in the land they play on and guided by voices who carry its stories forward.

  • Minor, junior, or college sports teams

  • Schools, classrooms, and youth groups

  • Corporate or community learning sessions

Formats Available.

Whether in person, online, or a custom setting, our speakers create meaningful experiences that inspire learning, spark dialogue, and bring communities together.

All programs start with Michael Hails for intake and coordination, then connect with local community outreach when possible.
