Coaches & Educators
The education module is accessed online via the Player Education Portal. If an athlete does not have home internet access, teams are encouraged to organize group learning sessions at school, community centres, or local libraries with Wi-Fi. Coaches can also print supplementary resources from the Educator Toolkit to support offline engagement.
While the jersey is a symbol of participation, completing the Player Education Portal is a core part of the program. Teams that fail to complete the learning module may not be eligible for future participation or additional jersey kits. We encourage all teams to uphold the integrity of the program.

Each athlete who completes their assigned learning path receives a digital Certificate of Completion via email.
Yes. Coaches or managers will have access to a dashboard to view team-wide progress and completion reports.
Yes. Offline learning sessions are encouraged. Resources from the Educator Toolkit and printable versions of key modules are available.
No, but completion of the education is expected during the season to uphold the integrity of the program.
Yes. Modules are designed for U7–U18 athletes with age-appropriate content and interactive elements.
Program Participation & Education
The Coach & Teacher Toolkit includes facilitation guides, discussion prompts, trauma-informed strategies, and cultural protocol tips.
The “Responding with Care” guide offers respectful ways to navigate difficult conversations. This guide helps coaches answer honestly while respecting cultural sensitivities.
Yes. Kits include a list of Indigenous wellness resources and helplines. Coaches are encouraged to create space for discussion and refer to local Indigenous support workers when possible.
Yes. The platform is designed for easy facilitation by any trusted adult with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Technical & Access Issues

Yes. For athletes under 13, a parent or guardian must register the athlete. Coaches can also guide group access for classroom-style participation.
No. Teams are registered by a coach or manager. Athletes create individual logins using an access code.
Email info@orangejerseyproject.com with your team and coach name to retrieve your code.
Registration & Logistics
Team name, sport, age division, number of athletes, contact info for coach/manager, and a confirmation of commitment to complete the Player Education Portal.
No. Jerseys are distributed in kits to approved teams only.
Jersey kits are shipped directly to the coach or manager’s address.
After approval, kits are shipped within 2–4 weeks.
Yes. Returning teams can apply again with priority given to new applicants if demand is high.
Each kit supports up to 20 hockey, 25 lacrosse, 30 football. athletes. Coaches may request additional sizes if needed.
Yes. Programs are tailored for U7–U18, including junior and college levels for leadership.
Yes. Each sport requires a separate application.
Sponsorship & Donations
Yes. Visit the Support page to make a one-time or monthly donation.
Sponsorship details are listed on the Become a Partner page. Packages range from Ally to Diamond Jersey Sponsor.
Yes. Regional and sport-specific sponsorships are available for Hockey, Football, and Lacrosse.
Yes. Companies can support event logistics or local programming. Volunteers are welcome at the Every Child Matters Game and regional activations.
Yes. OJP was designed as a community response to TRC #92—calling on the corporate sector to advance reconciliation.

Merchandise & Repeat Involvement
Yes. The store will launch in Phase 2 of the site.
Yes. Returning teams may request additional jerseys or updated materials.
First-year teams receive a full kit. Returning teams may receive updated materials and are encouraged to continue using their existing jerseys.
Security & Privacy
OJP uses a secure, third-party platform compliant with Canadian privacy regulations. Users under 13 require guardian consent.
Youth accounts are password-protected, monitored for security, and require adult registration for minors. The platform restricts open social features, encrypts all login data, and includes moderation tools.
